Voter Service Committee GoTV Update

LWVSP’s Voter Service Committee has been very busy this summer with voter education and outreach efforts, responding to requests from event organizers and senior living facilities. Our members have risen enthusiastically to the challenge; voter registration and education is one of the most important ways that the League serves its community.
The next Voter Service Committee meeting will take place on Wednesday September 23, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Saint Anthony Park Library. Our topic will be a discussion of how to explain the details and importance of voting (registration, mail-in ballots, early in person voting, security of the process, election day voting, etc.) to new and/or disenfranchised voters.

October 22: Voter Outreach with Northeast Seniors
All tabling events will involve voter registration and information sharing; volunteers may also help with spinner games and a photo booth. LWVSP members can email voterservice.lwvsp@gmail.com to get on our volunteer list to stay up to date with the latest volunteer opportunities.
