Saint Paul Citywide Voter Education Night (September 17)

On Thursday, September 17, the League of Women Voters of St. Paul is partnering with the Saint Paul City Council, Saint Paul Public Libraries, and the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State to put on a Voter Education Night across the city of St. Paul.

September 17, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Seven St. Paul Libraries — one in each Ward in the city — will host this exciting public engagement event.

  • Ward 1: Rondo Community Library at the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center

  • Ward 2: Riverview Library

  • Ward 3: Highland Park Library

  • Ward 4: Merriam Park Library

  • Ward 5: Rice Street Library

  • Ward 6: Arlington Hills Library at Arlington Hills Community Center

  • Ward 7: Sun Ray Library

At each library, you will be able to:

  • Tour a sample polling place and receive an explanation of how it works

  • Get to know your ballot and how to fill one out

  • Make a plan to vote

  • Learn how to find out about candidates

  • Register to vote

  • Request an absentee ballot by mail

  • Walk through the process of returning a ballot by mail

  • Ask questions about elections and voting
