Volunteer With the League
Volunteer with the League of Women Voters of St. Paul
The League of Women Voters of St. Paul is powered by its members who believe in strengthening democracy and empowering voters. Our members give their time and skills to make sure our community has access to fair elections, informed discussions, and opportunities for civic engagement.
To volunteer with LWVSP, you must first become a member. Membership opens the door to meaningful opportunities to contribute, learn, and lead.
Once you’re a member, here are some of the ways you can get involved:
Program Planning Committee
Identify topics, speakers, and locations for events, create marketing materials, coordinate details with presenters, and help promote programs to the public. Every contribution—big or small—helps make our events a success.

Voter Service Committee
Join the heart of our mission: voter engagement, registration, and education. Help organize candidate forums and voter education efforts.

Youth Vote Team
Encourage the next generation of voters by helping register high school and college students.

Phone Duty
Cover the LWVSP phone line for one month—less than an hour of your time. A simple but important way to stay connected with our community.

Communications Assistance
Put your writing, design, or digital skills to work! Assist with press releases, blogs, the newsletter, flyers, and social media. Training is available, so you can try something new or build on your experience.

Observer Corps
Attend public meetings (either one-time or ongoing) and report back to help keep our community informed and government accountable.
