QR Code to get a ride to the polls with NHN and Minnesota Voice

Community organizations: The Neighbors Helping Neighbors Network (NHN) and Minnesota Voice are offering rides to the polls to vote early in person, beginning Friday, September 18. Drivers are vetted volunteers in the NHN network that grew out of Minnesota's response to the ICE Surge this past winter. Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon asked NHN to expand the network to the entire state to make sure every eligible voter can get to the polls to vote. The NHN network is now active in all 87 Minnesota counties and has thousands of drivers. Use the QR code above or click here to request a ride to the polls to vote early in person. Share this info with your community!  Partnering organizations like Common Cause, Immigrant Defense Network, and others can also fill out the request form on behalf of callers who request a ride.

Offering a Ride? Would you or someone you know like to support the effort to organize and provide rides to the polls? MN Voice and NHN are collaborating to recruit drivers to fulfill community requests. For questions, please reach out to bri@minnesotavoice.org or emma@minnesotavoice.org. Fill out this form to be vetted and Become a Rides-to-the-Polls volunteer.

Rideshare Offers: Lyft is partnering with the national League of Women Voters to help close transportation gaps that can prevent people from getting to the polls. Through its Lyft Up Voting Access Program, the rideshare company is offering a 50 percent discount using the code VOTE26.

Local campaigns and parties: Contact local campaign and party offices directly to confirm availability.

Accessibility: Voters who need physical-access assistance can visit the Minnesota Secretary of State website for information about curbside voting and other accommodations.
