The LWVSP Membership Committee is hosting a Sunday Summer Social Event for members on the Sun Ray Library patio on July 12, 1:30-3:30 p.m. We especially invite new members to learn about League opportunities, including committee work; community education programs; book clubs; and the history and mission of our league. Enjoy refreshments with new and experienced league members while we are refreshed on the many opportunities available through League membership. All members are welcome as we support each other in this midterm election year.

The Voter Service Committee welcomes all LWVSP members to join. Volunteers will table at events throughout St Paul to register and educate people about voting. If you are curious about the specifics of voter service work, feel free to attend one of our online orientation sessions where we outline the how-to’s.

VSC Meeting: Mail-in Ballots and Election Security

The LWVSP Voter Service Committee will convene at Sun Ray Library on July 15, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., to learn about mail-in ballots, election security, and accurate election information. Our featured speaker will be Melanie Hazelip from the Office of the Secretary of State of Minnesota. All are welcome to attend this educational event.
