Goodman Lecture 2026: Interfaith Panel on Religious Nationalism

The League of Women Voters of St. Paul will have a presence in the lobby at this special St. Catherine’s University event. Our tabling display will highlight the work of League; encourage League membership and involvement among student body; and educate students and the general public on voting rights and elections. Come to St. Kate’s for this exciting and timely discussion, then stop by our table to say hello.

This interfaith panel will model interreligious dialogue on the topic of religious nationalism and its impacts on the United States and the Global community. Founded by Arthur and Constance Goodman in 1979, the Goodman Lecture promotes interfaith dialogue between Jewish and Christian communities. This is a free event, but requires tickets for entry. This event is for LWVSP members only. Join new and veteran members in learning about the League, then enjoy cards, coffee, conversation, and treats.

The program will begin with introductions, then we'll do a brief overview of LWVSP's history, mission, and activities, as well as discuss committee opportunities. Have a favorite game to teach? Always wanted to learn Bridge? Let us know your talents and wishes when you register. Not a card player? No problem. Join the chat-only table with League Leaders.

Trash Talk: Garbage & Recycling in St. Paul

Join the League of Women Voters St. Paul (LWVSP) to talk trash at our April Learn with the League program, "Trash Talk: Garbage & Recycling in St. Paul." In this hour-long Earth Day discussion, we'll explore our trash. Where does everything go when those trucks flip our carts’ contents into their receptacles? How does Ramsey County manage to keep over 80% of our trash out of landfills? Hear from Trista Martinson, Executive Director of Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy and Katie Drews, Co-President and CEO of Eureka.
