Dr. Bruce Corrie, economist and cultural entrepreneur will share elements of a powerful strategy to build Minnesota - Cultural Destinations. These are spaces offering a unique cultural experience. He will share models of cultural destinations, such as, Little Africa and his experience with the Cultural Destinations booth at the 2023 Minnesota State Fair. In low-income diverse communities this strategy flips the historical experience with racism to one of belonging and wealth building. See www.culturaldestinations.org.
