Join us to learn about child protection issues from Autumn Baum, JD, Policy Analyst, DHS Child Safety and Permanency and Emma Lofgren, Social Worker at Hennepin County.
During this monthly meetup Autumn and Emma will walk through the process, laws and timelines related to child protection. Then they will walk through a few examples of fictional families that mirror reality. They'll explain how families get into the system, what happens during their investigation, what their case plans look like, how progress is measured, and what happens at the conclusion of their court case.
